Founded in 1980, Control Concepts, Inc. is a privately held industry leader specializing in the design and manufacture of both standard and custom SCR (Silicon Controlled Rectifier) power controllers – engineered for high-current industrial applications with voltage ratings from 24 to 690 VAC and currents from 8 to 2,000 A.

At the core of their offerings are advanced phase-angle and zero-cross firing controllers, including compact digital models such as MicroFUSION® and FUSION®. These controllers allow precise power control in demanding environments, reducing down time and maximizing process uptime.

Control Concepts is known for building controllers to sustain full-rated current at 50 °C, supporting surge loads up to 20× rated current, and using optically coupled SCR gate drives to virtually eliminate false triggering from electrical transients. Reliability is engineered in – not added on.
